Why can't we be friends

The words girls never want to hear. "We can still be friends". But here's the deal. Why can't you still be friends?  I know, you think it'll get to complicated or it'll just be awkward, but truth is after some time being friends is a great possibility if you just put forth a tiny bit of effort. Here's the bottom line. A relationship should be two best friends that hold hands and kiss. So now you should just be taking out the holding hands and the kissing and the dates.

I know you girls are thinking, "what does she know"  and "its not that simple". But the thing is I do know. I just went through it. And with effort and some time, we're gonna be back to normal as friends. If you can't be friends after a relationship then in reality, your relationship wasn't worth the time.

Talk to your ex, ask about his/her life, show some interest in whats going on even though you aren't going out anymore. This little act of caring will be the first step into becoming friends again. If you were the one who was dumped then this is great because you're being the bigger person. So go ahead. Try it.

First off, everyone knows the biggest way to talk to people now a days is by texting or facebook. Boys- yall are not good at texting or facebook for the most part. Here's the deal, in person a boy can be funny and cute and sarcastic and sweet but give him a phone and its one word answers like "yeah!" or "lol hah. :)". Come on now. If we like talking to you then give us something to talk about. Girls don't like being the ones that have to hold the conversation all the time. That just gets boring and then we won't wanna text you. So basically, the point is if you're going to text a girl, make it good. give it some pizzaz, make the conversation last a bit longer than usual, try to be the one initiating and holding the conversation over texting or facebook.

Secondly, if you are one of the boys that doesn't like texting (because its too much of a hassle or you're just too lazy) then call her up, or write her a letter. There are more ways then one to talk to a girl. Writing her a sweet note or calling her randomly just to hear about her day or how she's doing will totally make her smile and make her day. It doesn't even have to be a full on letter, just leave a sticky note with something cute on her desk, locker, etc. Its not hard. if you need ideas just email me and I'll give you plenty of them! Thats what I'm here for. If you are too lazy to do either of those then you should GO SEE HER. Nothing beats face to face conversations. Flirting is best face to face anyways, its not like you can hold hand over the internet or texting. 

So here's the challenge try it. Try something new to spice up what yall talk about, to get to know her better, to make her smile.
